Women’s Club Championships Round 2 Results
Published on 15th March 2018 in Club Events, Guests News, Latest NewsPerfect scoring conditions were on offer for the 2nd round of the Women’s Club Championships and it was 2017 Club Champion Tiana Wanigasekera who put together the round of the day, posting a round of 76 to take a 14 shot lead into the final round. Tiana’s 14 stroke lead will be near on impossible for the fellow Club Grade competitors catching up however in B Grade Marilyn Anderson holds only a 3 shot lead from Maree Littman who made up significant ground today with a low round in B Grade with 97. In C Grade, there are two players tied at the top with young gun Sia Patel and Liz Heading leading the way after both posting totals of 221. The final round scheduled for Thursday 22 March is sure to be exciting with Tiana Wanigasekera poised to go back to back club champion and the other grades set for a close finish.
