Courtney qualifying underway

The duo combined for a score of 11 under the 4BBB format to be well placed to qualify for the matchplay part of the event.

The leading 16 pairs following the second round of qualifying on Saturday February 3 will progress to the knockout matchplay part of the event that commences on Saturday February 10.
Other pairs well placed are James Marsh and Matt Shotton (score of 10), Lucas Murtagh and Keith Falconer (10), Steve Ellis and Nick Stavrakis (9), Wes Taylor and Peter Barber (9) and David Pham and Matthew Delahunty (9).
The 2018 Philip Courtney Trophy is the first major men’s event on the 2018 calendar and will conclude with the final on Saturday March 3.
Michael Brunton and Nelson Novak (pictured left below) were crowned winners in 2017 following their 2 & 1 triumph over Martin Cook and Ciaran Fitzgerald (pictured right below).
