Member Achievements: Riaan Ayoobi

Introducing Riaan Ayoobi, one of our newest and youngest Cadet Member at Spring Valley Golf Club. At just five years old, Riaan is already making a name for himself in the world of golf.

Riaan started playing golf when he was just two years old and has been honing his skills ever since. At the age of three, he participated in the Pee Wee Swing Contest and impressed the judges, including golf legends like Jordan Spieth and Jack Nicklaus, enough to secure third place in the age three and under category.

Since the age of four, Riaan has been participating in US Kids Golf Tournaments and has consistently achieved second place in the last four seasons. He is currently leading the Fall 23 season going into the final round, which will take place at the end of April.

In the last round at Southern Golf course, Riaan achieved a personal best score of 48, after a string of 50s. He is now working hard to improve his score even further and is aiming to get under 40.

Despite his young age, Riaan is already showing great potential in golf and is a testament to the benefits of starting early and practicing consistently. We look forward to seeing Riaan continue to grow and improve as a golfer and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
