Masters Monday

A wonderful turnout to the annual Masters Monday event this week saw 125 members & their guests up bright and early to watch the last round from Augusta.

After a lovely breakfast, some exciting golf on the big screen, it was off to try to emulate what had just been witnessed – and for some, this was easy!!

Despite the weather, the scoring was excellent, and we congratulate our winner, and proud holder of the green jacket, Lynne Bui, who had an exceptional score of 45 points to take out the top prize. 

Our ladies were in form, Congratulations to our ladies prize winner Pita Travers, who had 44 points, noting that Lynne was ineligible for this prize, having won the overall event, also to our other major prize winners, Sam Singleton with 41 points, who was followed by Geoff Arthur on 40 points, and Phillip Edgar on 39 points.

Lunch afterwards was a hit, and when it was all said and done, an enjoyable day was had by all.
