Format change to Club event on the 23rd of December at SV

We would like to take a moment to address the recent concerns and feedback we’ve received regarding the upcoming 3-club event scheduled for Saturday week.

Given the challenging weather conditions we’ve experienced over the last two Saturdays, with both sessions being washed out, and yesterday’s cancellation due to inclement weather, we understand that members have had limited opportunities to engage in handicap-worthy rounds. Additionally, we are mindful that some members have not participated in club championships, leading to a gap in golfing activity for them since mid-November.

Taking these factors into consideration, and with the aim of providing a fair and enjoyable experience for all our members, we have decided to make an adjustment to the upcoming golf event schedule. Instead of the originally planned 3-club event, we will be hosting a Stableford event on Saturday, December 23rd.

We believe that the Stableford format will offer a more inclusive and equitable opportunity for members to showcase their skills and contribute to their handicap, especially considering the recent disruptions in our golfing calendar.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we strive to create the best possible golfing experience for our members. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you on the greens for what promises to be a fantastic Stableford event on December 23rd.
