Women’s Club Championship 2018
What an outstanding day it was for the final round of the 2018 Women’s Club Championships. Tiana Wanigasekera was able to hold her nerve in the Club Grade Championships but not before a final round charge from multiple time winner Sue Semmens. Tiana can now add her 2018 title to go along side her 2017 Championship and is rapidly building an extensive trophy collection. Julie Sheldrake claimed the Club Grade Nett Championship but only by one stroke from Shirley Munro. Maree Littman was victorious after an extremely close battle for the B Grade Championship winning by only one stroke from Marilyn Anderson, however Marilyn was able to claim 1st place the B Grade Nett Championship. In C Grade it was another junior who featured with Sia Patel claiming her first major title winning the C Grade Championship by 7 strokes. Jacqueline Fraser took the honors in the C Grade Nett Championships.
