Women’s Challenge Bowl Wrap Up

With 22 Golf Clubs represented, the stage was set for a day of camaraderie, competition, and celebration.
Winners on the Day:

Best Team / Challenge Bowl Winners: Margot Cleary and Sally Green, along with Jany Choi and Jane McIntosh, from Latrobe Golf Club showcased their prowess with an impressive 82 points.

Best Pair: Lorraine Skelton and Michelle Barron from the Box Hill Golf Club with a remarkable 45 points.

Nearest to the Pin (NTP) 3rd Hole: Sabina Rosser (Keysborough Golf Club.

Nearest to the Pin (NTP) 10th Hole: Prakash Singh (Waverley Golf Club).
Post-golf, the women were treated to a delightful two-course lunch in the dining room, followed by presentations.
Days like this do not happen without the dedicated assistance of the whole Spring Valley team. A big shoutout to Christine McMahon and Dot George, Tim and the Golf Service team for warmly welcoming guests and ensuring everyone was up to speed on course etiquette and results.
Special thanks to Michelle and Anita for handling registration flawlessly, and to Craig and his team for their hard work in maintaining the course to perfection.
Jamie and the Front of House team provided exceptional service, while Chef Daniel and the kitchen staff served up a meal that had guests snapping photos to share with their clubs.
Heartfelt gratitude also goes to the Women’s Committee, volunteers, and Spring Valley Golfers for their invaluable contributions to making this day such a success. Kudos to the entire team for your fantastic collaboration!
