Mollie Thiele Winner Announced

A Glimpse into the Mollie Thiele Event:

Since its inception the Mollie Thiele Event has been a highlight in the women’s golfing syllabus, named after Spring Valley’s own Mollie Thiele, who served as Women’s Captain from 1951 to 1954, the event continues to engage our women in spirited competition and camaraderie. The knockout handicap match play event is a major event in our golfing calendar that continues to pays tribute to Mollie Thiele’s remarkable contributions to the Club.

The Grand Finale:

The culmination of the Mollie Thiele event took place on Thursday, August 31st and we witness a thrilling showdown between two outstanding competitors: Christine McMahon and Vicki Periorelis. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, as these skilled golfers displayed their prowess and sportsmanship on the greens.

And the Winner is… Christine McMahon! 🏆

In a riveting match, Christine McMahon emerged as the victor with a score of 6/4. Congratulations Christine we look forward to seeing your name shining brightly on the Honour Board. 

We would also like to extend heartfelt congratulations to Vicki Periorelis, who made her debut in the event this year and we look forward to seeing her continued success at the Club.
