Lockdown Announcement
Published on 27th May 2021 in Guests News, Latest NewsDear Members
Here we go again!!
This morning, the Victorian Acting Premier James Merlino, on advice from health officials, has announced a state-wide seven day circuit breaker lockdown commencing midnight tonight (Thursday 27th May).
To that end, it is with regret, we inform members and guests, that to comply with these restrictions, the Spring Valley Golf Club (Clubhouse, internal practice areas, the southern range and the course) will close from tonight.
Timesheets for the period of the lockdown will be deleted, so those with bookings do not need to do anything in regard to cancelling golf, and information on timesheet opening procedures is as follows: As bookings are done eight days in advance, booking sheets will open as normal with sheets opening today for Friday next week. Please note that we will restrict bookings to Members only for the recommencement of play to ensure that as many Members get a chance to enjoy the course upon our return.
Consideration will be given to allowing visitors under a delayed booking arrangement and this will be communicated during the week as will any changes to dates for events currently underway.
Upon our return it is imperative that any time you attend the Club you check in with the QR codes. We’ve had a really low compliance rate with that thus far and it must improve. It is an essential part of the tracing system and we all need to do our bit to avoid any further unnecessary lockdowns.
Our administration team will continue to work from home during business hours for the duration of the lockdown, however phones will not be monitored. If you need to get in touch, please do so via email.
For any account queries, please contact Anita on accounts@springvalleygolf.com.au and for all other queries, please contact our GM Chris, on gm@springvalleygolf.com.au

We thank everyone for the patience during this difficult time, & let’s hope the action taken by the Government has the desired outcome and we’re back on the course as of next Friday.
