Congratulations to Gary Meadows who got a hole in one on the 5th hole today! He can be seen celebrating with his playing partner Jan Kreymborg, well done Gary!

The 5th.
Partnered with Jan, warm day, 5 knot breeze from the south.
Jan said 7..8? 78 years, bit rude I thought. I decided 8.
Clint Eastwood was standing there, pencil like, salt & pepper hair swaying in the breeze. I took a shot. “Bit fat I said”. Jan said “in the pot”. bit rude again. I could loose a few pounds.
Clint looked east & I saw the shot heading towards him. I could hear Clint “GET OFF MY LAWN” (Grand Torino). Jan threw her arms out towards me.” It’s your lucky day” she said. We embraced.
Men shouted in & came in our direction. What have I done, I was embarrassed. Instead of abusing me they wanted to shake my hand. “maybe I am lucky”.
“We should take your picture with Jan” one said. “We done another said”.
What is going on? Where’s my ball ?.
I walked with Jan for another hour or so, went to the bar & had a drink with the President. “it is my lucky day”.
We shook hands & went our separate ways.
I drove home singing a JPY song “love is in the air”. I love the game.
I don’t overthink the game “do I ?”
